Bleach subreddit: What’s the point of even continuing the anime?

Yoruichi Shihōin is a fictional character from the manga and anime series Bleach, created by Tite Kubo. She is an enigmatic and powerful soul reaper who formerly served as the captain of the 2nd Division of the Gotei 13. Yoruichi is known for her exceptional speed, agility, and combat skills, making her one of the most formidable characters in the series.

There was a recent discussion on the Bleach subreddit about this tweet below that stated that a part that exposes most of Yoruichi’s back will be censored.

Big chance the Bleach title card on Yoruichi ass will be cut in the anime

Yoruichi Shihōin, from the anime and manga series Bleach, is a highly skilled and powerful character who is often admired for her abilities, personality, and contributions to the storyline. However, it is important to note that she is also frequently sexualized in the way she is depicted. Yoruichi’s appearance promotes a seductive aura with her revealing attire and provocative poses.

Some commenters argued that it is highly unlikely that it will be censored, as Bleach has never taken that route before. A Redditor commented, “They showed Candice’s ass and didn’t censor Orihime’s suit. There’s a chance this will not get censored. While another commented, “I’m sure someone will animate that scene”.

Some more comments on the Reddit post.

Since most of such scenes are considered fanservice, they are not normally animated panel to panel, as another Redditor pointed out: It’s 4th-grade stuff. There’s no way to know. Some fanservice scenes were cut, some weren’t”.

Another Redditor commented that since it doesn’t add anything to the story, it is useless. “Well, that card isn’t something I would miss. I hope the whole transformation stays since it adds to the characterization of both Yuruichi and Urahara. But that ass adds to nothing but fanservice, so apart from it being a somewhat fun way to throw in a title card, it won’t be missed by me.

Whether or not this panel gets animated remains to be seen in the upcoming episodes. If you are a fan of Bleach, make sure to catch up on all the episodes.
