Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 15 Leaks Upsets The Episode Director

It is a well-known fact that, be it manga chapters or anime episodes, leaks are bound to happen before the original release date. Different people have different opinions about this happening. You may find a few fans hating spoilers and can afford to stay off the internet for a few days while the rest enjoy it. However, the people who work hard on these animations and directions are the ones to suffer. Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 15 Director Isuta Meister has taken to Twitter (now deleted) to express his anger at the leaker who leaked the timecode videos.

How did Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 15 Get Leaked?

It is suspected that one of the animators leaked Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 15 before the original release slot, given the director’s name was not on the staff list but was on the storyboard for the previous episode. There have been reports of such leaks, generally carried out by overseas animators or the internal staff, who often get the undimmed and uncut version. The director’s tweet created a rage among the fandom, and they have accused several of releasing the leaks. One of them was a freelance animator. However, after an investigation from Mappa’s PA Hakanoshita, the animator was proven innocent.

Leaking spoilers has been a big problem in the anime community for eternity. Most fans wait particularly for spoilers, and it has gotten worse these days, with the whole chapter or an episode being released on Reddit or Twitter days before the original release date. The manga chapters usually appear three to four days ahead of schedule. It happens when the magazine goes for binding in Japan days before it is distributed in various stores. Meanwhile, the animated episode is leaked by internal employees, overseas animators, or those working on the subtitles.

Final Thoughts:

The animators, authors, and directors work for days to create one panel or a scene for the fans, and no one wants their hard work to go in vain, especially after what has been going on at the Mappa Studio right now. Several animators, as young as 17 years, are working on what fans want to see on their screens. It is time for us, as fans, to pay tribute to their efforts.
