Damian Lillard’s trade was one of the hot topics in the NBA realm. Miami Heat was reportedly trying hard to get Damian Lillard in, and there were speculations that Miami would let Tyler Herro go in exchange for Damian. A lot of uncertainty was there, but finally, the Portland Trail Blazers traded Dame to the Milwaukee Bucks. It was a three-team deal with the Phoenix Suns.
Damian Lillard’s trade
After Damian requested a trade from the Blazers, Miami was that one team that was desperately trying to get Damian in at any cost. Dame also expressed his wish to get into Miami Heats, but unfortunately, it could not happen. Damian’s agent Aaron Goodwin thanked Miami for their efforts.
“They did everything they could to acquire Dame. It takes two to get a deal done, I appreciate all that Pat, Andy, and Micky did to try and make this happen.” Goodwin said.
Damian Lillard is performing well in the ongoing season, with a per-game average of 24.3 points, 4.4 points, and 4.7 assists. Well, there was news of his injury, and it was believed that he would miss some games but gladly Damian was available for the Bucks vs Bulls match. Currently, Dame is one of the main players of the Bucks and has led his team to a decent start.
Tyler Herro’s season so far
Miami Heat’s point guard Tyler Herro has been too good so far. His spot in the team was a matter of doubt due to Miami’s constant effort to get Damian Lillard it was there. Everyone believed that Miami might exchange him in the Dame’s trade, but it did not happen. Tyler is averaging 22.9 points per game so far this season. He seems to be solidifying his place in the team for future seasons.

Unfortunately, Tyler has a Grade 2 ankle sprain injury, and he might miss out for two weeks at least. During the match against the Memphis Grizzlies, he got that injury and missed that game, too.
“Right when it happened, I felt it, And I kind of knew mentally, I heard some crunches and cracks in my ankle. And I’m like, ‘Yeah, that will be it.’” Herro said
Miami will be playing against the Hornets in the next game without one of their key players. Let’s see how it goes and hope for a speedy recovery of Tyler Herro.
