One Piece Chapter 1099 Recap

The previous chapter contained crucial details about Kuma’s past, Ginny’s, and Bonney’s. Ginny, who was kidnapped by a Celestial Dragon because he wanted her as a bride, later contacted the Revolutionary Army. She told them she was expelled because of illness. Unfortunately, she died before Kuma could reach her.

Kuma, grieving Ginny’s death, raised Bonney as his own with the help of elders. Bonney, who was found to have the same disease as Ginny, prompted Kuma to leave the Revolutionary Army. A doctor diagnosed Bonney with Sapphire Scale disease and told them that she had only five years left to live.

Panel from previous manga chapters.

Bonney misunderstood him and thought that it meant that she’d recover at the age of ten. Kuma lets her be. After a year, Sorbet Kingdom citizens seek Kuma’s aid against Becori.

As the plot unfolds and Kuma’s past is revealed, fans can expect to see more of it in future chapters. Stay tuned with us to keep up with your favorite manga!
