Following his declaration, his admirers were quick to show their support.
‘We are still riding with you, Tiger. ‘See you next year,’ one person remarked.

‘Still proud of u for making the cut. U will always b a winner,’ another added.
‘We love you brother,’ a different fan said.
The Masters’ organizers originally confirmed Woods’ withdrawal from the tournament on Sunday morning.

Woods wished his fellow rivals luck on Twitter as he confirmed the news.
‘I am disappointed to have to WD this morning due to reaggravating my plantar fasciitis,’ he said.
‘Thank you to the fans and to @TheMasters who have shown me so much love and support. Good luck to the players today!’ he said.
